EPA Region 8 Request for Proposals for FQPA/Strategic Agricultural Initiative - Deadline January 18, 2008

Region 8's 2008 RFP for the Food Quality Protection Act (FQPA)/Strategic Agricultural Initiative (SAI) Grant Program has been posted to both the Region 8 website and to fedgrants.gov.

Please note that, like the 2007 RFP, the 2008 FQPA/SAI RFP has been combined with several other Region 8 grant programs into one large "Regional Grant Priorities" RFP (also known as the "Consolidated Funding Process"). The process is the same as last year, and the FQPA/SAI grant program remains the same - please don't let the appearance or length of the new RPF deter you from applying. As always, feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need help.

I also wanted to note that most of the proposals we recieved in response to previous year's RFPs have been excellent and we would have liked to have been able to fund more than 2 or 3 projects each year. Please consider resubmitting your proposals from 2007 or earlier years if we were not able to fund your project previously. Of course, new project proposals are always welcome. Please forward this to anyone else you know who might be interested in EPA's SAI Program.
