The Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) FY 2008 Request for Applications (RFA) for the Crops at Risk (CAR) and the Risk Avoidance and Mitigation (RAMP) Competitive Grant Programs (Application Deadline: February 29, 2008)From: John Jefferies The Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) is pleased to announce the release of the FY 2008 Request for Applications (RFA) for the Crops at Risk (CAR) and the Risk Avoidance and Mitigation (RAMP) Competitive Grant Programs. The goal of CAR is to create or enhance IPM practices for individual food or fiber crops grown for commercial purposes. The goal of RAMP is to enhance the development and implementation of innovative IPM strategies for multi-crop food and fiber production systems, or production systems on an area-wide or landscape scale.
