Sustainable Agriculture PCA Conference Set December 8, 2003 in San Luis Obispo, California

SAN LUIS OBISPO—The second annual Sustainable Agriculture PCA Conference, set December 8, 2003 in San Luis Obispo, will focus on biologically-integrated farming practices (in particular, for winegrapes, strawberries and citrus crops), organic management practices, and the regulations surrounding biocontrol and USDA organic standards

It will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the San Luis Obispo County Veterans" Hall, 801 Grand Avenue, San Luis Obispo.

Leaders in the organic and sustainable agriculture movements will be attending. The conference is hosted by the Sustainable Agriculture Club of Cal Poly State University. CEUs will be offered pest control advisors and certified crop advisors. The $125 registration fee (before November 15) includes continental breakfast and lunch. Fees after November 15: $150. Students with identification: $35.
